Our European headquarters is based in Amersfoort where we currently base 45 employees. Besides that, there are satellite offices in London and Berlin. Our global headquarters is based in Seattle. In contrast to many other skincare brands in Europe we sell our products primarily via multiple owned webshops based on Sales Force Commerce Cloud Platform. Therefore, we are an organization with a very strong eCommerce focus and drive. Our growth plan to further develop the European market is ambitious and we’re continuously showing double-digit growth.

To realise our challenging growth plans we are recruiting for a:

e-Commerce Manager (Full Time)

Within this role you are responsible for the continuous improvement and new feature development of all our webshops in the European market space. Your goal is to provide the ultimate shopping experience for our customers. Which of course implies continuous optimization in its broadest sense.

In order to achieve this, you will work within a multidisciplinary team. You will guide the team whilst working as one of them. Your guidance and prioritization are always based on business value. For new feature development and other technical changes of the platform, you will be working closely with our external development agency Emakina.

Furthermore you will be working closely together with multiple other marketing and country teams. To succeed, excellent stakeholder management with international stakeholders is a must. Within this role, you will have 3 direct reports.

What are you going to do?

  • Create user stories and manage the product backlogs to make sure that your team and the external development team, delivers the proper enhancements. Constantly weighing business and consumer value versus efforts
  • Work in close collaboration with various stakeholders and the multidisciplinary team to define business and consumer value and to decide upon priorities
  • You own the vision for the eCommerce platform in Europe within the overall strategy
  • You are responsible for monitoring, optimization, configuration and development of the overall eCommerce platform
  • You are responsible for proper testing and validating of new product releases
  • As part of the Marketing Managers team you are expected to co-lead the Marketing team and bring them to the next level, in particular, your own team of 3 direct reports
  • Interact with your counterpart at Paula’s Choice Global (US) to get aligned on what they are working on and sharing best practices
  • Enable and empower the country teams, so they can win big in their markets

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • University/Master’s Degree, preferably with a focus on eCommerce, digital, business, or web optimization
  • Minimal 3-5 Years of experience in eCommerce, preferably as product owner and/or eCommerce manager
  • You get the commercial and technical aspects of our business and you understand retail
  • Your mindset is truly data driven
  • Leadership capabilities, showing vision as well as people management skills
  • Excellent international stakeholder management
  • Excellent teamplayer with outstanding communication skills
  • Understanding of eCommerce software and operations. Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a big plus
  • Understanding of analytics software such as Google - or Adobe Analytics
  • Excellent eye for UX and design
  • You truly understand CRO and you are experienced with A/B or other multivariate testing get the best improvements and results
  • Experience with agile working, preferably Scrum
  • Fluent in English and ideally one other European language

To further build our business we are looking for a:

Supply Chain Manager (Full time)

Responsible for Planning, purchasing & logistics (warehousing/order fulfillment & distribution). Reports to Paula's Choice Europe Director of Finance & Operations and leads the Demand Planner and Logistics Coordinator.

Duties and responsibilities:

Planning & inventory management:

  • Participate in-and managing the Global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process;
  • Controlling inventory levels, minimize out-of-stock situations;
  • Cooperation with Marketing for product introductions & promotions;
  • In and out phasing of products;
  • Report inventory numbers/cover;
  • Oversee stock counts per quarter and analysis;
  • Year planning for Paula’s Choice Global, in line with Europe Business planning;
  • Measuring planning accuracy;
  • THT data monitors and managing

Purchasing:

  • Liaise with Paula’s Choice Global, other vendors (FE printing amenities) and repackaging partners;
  • Places orders & repackaging commands in a cost-and planning effective way;
  • Purchase prices with Finance.

Logistics:

  • Monitors performance 3th Party Logistics;
  • Surveillance on B2B order fulfillment;
  • Coordination issues in relation with 3 Party Logistics (IT, stock, shipping related).

The candidate we are looking for offers:

  • Bachelor training is a must;
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain (i.e. Planning) and managerial experience;
  • Process thinker with analytic skills and a critical eye, allergic to insufficiency;
  • Thorough knowledge of Excel is a must;
  • Hands-on approach: combination of tactical and operational activities in this function;
  • Proactive and self-starter, but also good in stakeholder management and a networker within the Organization;
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English and Dutch.

To expand our business and realize our challenging growth plans we are looking for a:

Demand & Supply planner

Paula’s Choice Europe Demand & Supply planner will initiate, improve and monitor the demand forecast for Europe following integrated business planning (IBP) for demand. Within this position you will report directly to our Supply Chain Manager.

Main responsibilities:

  • Improve forecast for demand and supply captured in an Excel based model.
  • Create accurate forecast for our 210 active stock keeping unit (sku) working together with European marketing, finance, B2B partners and the US supply team.
  • Stock availability, months stock per sku, out of stock, risks, expiration dates, new product launches & analyses, portfolio, new artwork, repacking, mean absolute percent error, forecast bias, key performance indicators and ABC classification for sku.
  • Inbound shipments by ocean and air from the US and the local customs clearance.
  • Order management of our twelve B2B partners and three marketplaces in Europe.
  • Outbound shipments, packages and pallets leaving our 3PL to D2C, B2B and market places.
  • Order packing, receiving, return processes, assemblage orders, general processes and instructions, communication and PCEU order forecast of our 3PL in the Netherlands.
  • Purchase of printed matter, stickers and other marketing materials.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor degree.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Hands on personality, able and willing to perform all required tasks of the department.
  • Working experience in demand or supply planning is desirable.
  • Excellent (advanced) Good MS Excel knowledge and working experience.
